Extra-curricular Activities
We believe that extra-curricular activities are a core part of every child's education. Through discovering their own passions and interests, Blue School students can learn practical life skills and foster their talents in a range of different fields from sport to the arts, from philosophy to robotics and debating.
The Lüderitz Blue School offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities every school day until 15:00 for the primary school and until 16:00 for the secondary school. On Fridays, Oceans Day and Adventure club run until 16:00 or 17:00. The cost of these clubs is included in the school fees for Blue School learners.
We also organise off-site activities and excursions including to the Namibia Desert Education and Environment Trust (NaDEET), camping in the mountains of Aus and on the Luderitz Peninsula.
Clubs are led both by our school staff and members of the wider community. If you have a suggestion for a club or would like to lead an activity coordinated by the Lüderitz Blue School, please get in touch. We are always happy to hear from volunteers in the community.
